Our experienced staff are always friendly, polite and understanding and act with honesty, integrity and with respect for the individual and their home.

We only accept applicants of the highest quality and are all required to have at least one years experience in their selected field. Our staff are subject to a rigorous selection process. We will only supply staff who have completed all the necessary screening procedures including:

• Comprehensive interview

• Full training programme including specialist training

• Professional references

• Enhanced Criminal Bureau check (CRB)

We also require successful applicants to attend our mandatory training programme.  Our training, in accordance with Common Induction Standards, is delivered by accredited training providers and is updated annually or as necessary in specialist areas. This comprehensive induction forms the basis of continuing professional development which includes new knowledge, skills and competencies.

All specialised services offered are demonstrably based on current good practice (GSCC Code of Practice for Social Care Workers).

Stringent selection means that not every healthcare support worker can work for Leda Homecare but for each one that does, assistance and support are provided every step of the way, from their initial recruitment through to on-going personal support and career development. Our qualified nurse consultants have extensive experience in recruiting the highest calibre of staff to our range of clients.
